As you must have known, Homebaker@Clover, the famous cinnamon roll bakery and cafe, has quickly gained popularity due to the delicious and unique variety of cinnamon rolls with more than 20 toppings. Our founder and CEO, Rosli Manaf, speaks about his business journey and the challenges he faced in the latest issue of The Titan from RichWorks.
Rosli started his business from home and was initially met with moderate success. However, during the last movement control order (MCO) in 2019 during the global pandemic, the demand for his homemade cinnamon rolls skyrocketed, prompting him to open his first cafe in preparation for his post-retirement plans. He then emphasises the importance of meeting customer demand and being able to adapt to changing circumstances in the business world.
Despite his 30 years of experience in corporate business, Rosli admit he had no prior experience in the food and beverage industry or running a cafe. Nevertheless, from the start he was determined to succeed and learned the ins and outs of the business through trial and error.
